SMS & Messaging Terms

These SMS & Messaging Terms ("SMS Terms") describe Lumexa's text messaging program and apply to anyone who consents to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from Lumexa. By opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.
1. Program description
When you opt in, Lumexa may send you text messages related to:
- Customer care & conversations — replies to your inquiries and ongoing support;
- Appointment & account notifications — reminders, confirmations, scheduling, and status updates;
- Onboarding & follow-ups — onboarding steps, check-ins, and responses to requests for information;
- Marketing & promotions — offers and updates, sent only if you have separately and expressly opted in to promotional messages.
2. How you opt in (consent)
We send messages only to recipients who have provided prior express consent. You may opt in to receive text messages from Lumexa by:
- Submitting your phone number through a Lumexa web form or lead form and agreeing to receive text messages;
- Providing consent verbally or in writing during signup, a booked call, or onboarding;
- Agreeing to messaging as part of a service agreement or intake form; or
- Texting a designated keyword to our number, or otherwise providing your number for the purpose of being contacted by text.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or have authority to consent for the mobile number provided, and you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Lumexa at that number.
3. Message frequency & cost
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Lumexa does not charge for the messages, but your carrier's standard rates apply.
4. How to opt out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a final confirmation message and you will no longer receive text messages from that program. To rejoin, opt in again as described above.

6. Carriers & delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Supported carriers may change at any time.
7. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. No mobile information or SMS opt-in/consent will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subprocessors solely to deliver the messaging service (for example, our messaging platform). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
8. Changes
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
